It was getting hot again, in both meanings of the word, and Rowan figured they'd either have to take off a bit more clothing, or stop what they were doing and put some distance between themselves if they were going to cool down at all. And she didn't like that second option. She did, however, like the first one. Odd, though, to be using body heat to measure how quickly things were happening. As she paused in kissing him, to take a breath, she couldn't help but smile a little at that thought. But she wasn't sure, exactly, what pace Dorian wanted things to go at.

Making sure that her lips never left his, Rowan slid off his lap into a standing position, pulling him up so that he was standing, too, and keeping his body close to hers. Because, of course, it would have been nearly impossible to get her pajama shorts off from the position she'd been in - sitting on his lap. Now standing, she slid those shorts off to reveal the pair of Hello Kitty underwear she was wearing underneath.. Ha, very mature, Rowan. But she hadn't exactly planned on anyone else seeing them.

She had to admit, as she she watched Dorian for a second getting of his pants, she was lucky that she'd been in pajamas. His pants involved buttons and zippers.. Much more complicated. And Rowan couldn't help but smile as she allowed herself a glance at his boxers.. And the little robot doodles on them. Very cute. Cute enough to rival the cuteness of her underwear. She was better at cute, anyway, than she was at hot or sexy or any of those other things. So maybe the fact that she had Hello Kitty underwear instead of the uncomfortable-looking lacy things that girls in movies wore, actually made sense.

And she continued to kiss him, her hands now resting on his hips, holding his body very close to hers. With another small smile, she thought about how lucky they were that Fullerton Academy had co-ed dorms.

The feel of Dorian softly thumbing a small part of her back again, made Rowan shiver in the best way, and she couldn't help but smile as she kissed him. And he'd pulled her closer to him, so she could now feel the bare skin of his chest against her, and as she brought herself a little closer, she could even feel his heartbeat.

And as she continued to kiss him, bringing her arms up to rest around his neck, her thoughts were on when he'd asked whether she'd marry him after they were finished with school and everything. And she realized that part of her was surprised that she hadn't been more scared of that idea. But every second she spent with Dorian reminded her of why she wasn't afraid of saying that she'd marry him, that she'd be with him forever.

Until Dorian, Rowan had never really had a boyfriend she'd been serious about. It was more that she'd date a guy that she sort of liked, and the relationship would last for only as long as the boy interested her, usually a few weeks or less. So she'd had quite a few boyfriends, though she hadn't stayed with any of them long enough to get beyond just kissing, or long enough to really get attached.

So Dorian was, in some ways, her first real boyfriend. It was definitely different with him than with anyone else. Rowan felt his lips along her neckline after he broke the kiss, and the feeling made her shiver a little, again. Did he have any idea how his lips touching her skin made her feel? After only a moment or so, she was trailing kisses along his soft skin, whichever places she could reach to kiss. Along his neck and his shoulders, his jaw, his chest, where she could feel his heartbeat.

Rowan kissed along his jaw, bringing her lips from his neck to just an inch or so away from his ear. And she whispered, "I love you" for what could have been the hundredth time that day, for all she knew. She'd said it so many times, yet it was never enough to explain just how much she loved him. And maybe he'd know, from what she said, all the other things she was telling him but not actually saying. That just being near him made her happier than anyone else ever could, that the slightest touch of his skin against hers could make her heart speed up or skip a beat.

And then she brought her lips back to his neckline, placing kisses along it, as well as giving a few love bites, as he'd done. This, Dorian in her arms and her in his, was one of the best feelings there was. Knowing he was hers, and she was his, and they could have this forever.

Rowan heard the words he'd whispered into her ear, and of course they made her smile. Every time he said it, it would have the same sort of effect on her, because it was that reminder that everything she felt for him, he felt the same about her. And while she knew that, she could never get tired of hearing it.

She felt him take her bra off, and they were down to one piece of clothing each, just Dorian's boxers with their little robots and her Hello Kitty underwear. That thought made her smile slightly again. she'd never worn such little clothing in front of someone, because this was now revealing more than any swimsuit would, but she didn't feel nervous about it at all. Rowan just kissed Dorian again, with one hand on his waist and one resting on his chest.

Rowan couldn't help but smile, seeing him smile. Yes, she'd seen him in just boxers quite a few times.. But he'd never her seen her in just this before, and it had her wondering if he was thinking about what she looked like. See, Rowan was used to being thought of as cute, and so she liked the idea that as she stood here like this, maybe Dorian would be thinking of her as hot.

Then he pulled her closer to him, feeling just his skin against hers, and it was the most amazing feeling. So much better than having layers of fabric in between them. And she kissed him again, her hands remaining where they were, to keep his body held close against hers.
